Kuwentong Pambata sa panahon ng pandemya
The book Pagbalhin ha Tagpuro ( The Move to Tagpuro) is a Waray children story written in the context of post Yolanda. This book is part of the effort of Leyte Normal University to address the lack of reading materials for teaching reading and writing in the Mother Tongue. This storybook for children carries a message of hope and rebuilding, in the light of the disaster that visited the region.

KATIG Writers Network and Save the Children partnered together to produce a series of children stories to be distributed to the different elementary schools in Leyte and Samar. The purpose of the project was to fill the dearth of reading materials in Waray in support of the Mother Tongue Based Multi-Lingual Education.
KATIG Writers Network Inc. wrote stories that teach respect for the interconnectedness of all lifeforms on the planet.
Save the Children funded the printing cost, and gave the books to school children in Eastern Visayas. Stakeholders and interested parties may reproduce the books for wider distribution and accessibility, provided the books are given away for free, and no changes are made on the original material.
